When the Pro (Senior) was released, the Prismatic Snake style were still in circulation. This style also came with the 'CHROMOLY' chainstay decal.
By the end of 1981 the decals had been completely overhauled with two flavours available depending upon the rider.
This style was only attached to the Pro range of bikes.
Factory riders had gold backed prismatic decals used to distinguish their bikes from any other bike. (If you look in just about any BMX mag from BITD you'll notice only gold backed decals on factory bikes).
While gold backed decals were only available to factory riders, silver backed decals are what went onto production bikes sold to the general public. (Which is why you only see silver backed decals on just about every DB out there).
Though not shown there was also a 'DB TEAM PRO' decal in the White and Blue on Silver Prismatic style. There was also a 'DB SENIOR PRO' box section decal, which would suggest one style for team, another for the public. Hopefully this will be confirmed as more information becomes avaliable since this could also me true for the other two models in the Pro range
Re: What bars ?
See here for a list of some Bars produced but I've seen in excess of 27 (I've a set on my Senior). Also, it could be that the ends are the originals, just worn which could give the appearence of size...
