BMX was in full flow, and so it seems was the development for upcoming models such as the revised Pro series which introduced three models, the Mini, Medium and Senior. This generation of a new Pro range was originally released with snake decals and then updated to the more common 'DIAMOND BACK' style which you'll be able to see in the Decals section.
Diamond Back commented that the Medium was the most popular, though it's the Senior size that seems to come out of the woodwork nowadays.
Diamond Back (more Centurion) updated the Moto-1, changing the gussett as well as other subtle differences
Late 1981 also saw the release of the Silver Streak, yet in very small numbers. This bike saved Diamond Back and was to become their best selling model by a mile.
Re: What bars ?
See here for a list of some Bars produced but I've seen in excess of 27 (I've a set on my Senior). Also, it could be that the ends are the originals, just worn which could give the appearence of size...
