DB of the year

Been giving some thought to running a "DB OF THE YEAR" after reading a comment by houdini.Ive spoken with Sparky and just wanna discuss it in a thread for your views,thoughts and feedback.What i have so far is:-

1.Entry is automatic after winning a DB OF THE MONTH

2."DB OF THE MONTH" will run from January to November,with December being "DB OF THE YEAR" voted for by you guys

3.The winner will recieve a Trophy engraved with:-


OS-DB
BIKE OF THE YEAR 2012
WINNERS NAME(eg SPARKY or HOUDINI)
BIKE(eg Senior Pro,Silver Streak or Viper)



4.The winner to PM me there address and i will post worldwide

5.So far we have:-

Super cool idea.. I'm sure that would push some people to finish some projects and whatnot.. Maybe we can make a trophy outta a crank arm and a chainring or some kinda DB parts.. Be kinda sweet looking.. I'm living the idea for a DB of the year thing.. Great idea..

Just a thought, because I'm concious that Karl has kindly offered to foot the bill to finance this on his own is maybe increase the Donation from £10.00 to £12.00 annually.

...and c'mon everyone, let's have more feedback from people when someone suggests an idea, it's not all about building and collecting.

This is a great fun idea, not just because I have a 1 in 11 chance but I think this would motivate ppl to get more into this awesome hobby/addiction creating n finishing builds, I love seeing people's own personal takes on their pride n joys.
I've only been into this under two yrs but pretty excited to be a part of it all. A db of the year is motivation even more so for myself, altho we know two beautiful bikes that are bound to be going into the comp. Shout out to Kurt n fresh. Love both their bikes.
